IMPROPER INFLATION
Overinflated tires wear down the center tread faster, reducing ride quality and safety.
Underinflated tires wear on both edges, shortening tread life and reducing fuel economy. The added friction can overheat the tire and lead to failure—check and maintain proper pressure regularly.
POOR ALIGNMENT
Diagonal tread wear usually points to rear misalignment, common on front‑wheel‑drive cars. Schedule an alignment and keep up with regular tire rotations to reduce the pattern.
Out of balance tires create patchy wear from unbalanced wheels or weak suspension.
MAINTENANCE NEEDED
Excessive camber wears the inner or outer edge of the tire depending on wheel alignment.
The tire shows feathered tread, indicating an alignment issue: feathering on the inside edge suggests excessive toe-out, while feathering on the outside edge points to excessive toe-in.
ROAD IMPACT
This sidewall bubble is caused by a tear to the inner liner from an impact; the tire is not repairable and must be replaced immediately.
